CSS
Notes are added to key areas or groups in the CSS file to make the code even more easy to read and edit.
Eric Mayer's CSS reset make that default look more consistent across browsers, and thus spend less time fighting with browser defaults.
CSS Framework
If you use CSS Frameworks in your own coding , please choose one of the options listed below.
Markup
Document Type Definition (W3C Standard)
Specify the DocType preferred. For maximum longevity of the code we recommend (X)HTML 1.0 Transitional for most projects. Typically (X)HTML 4.01 should used for (X)HTML emails.
Notes will be added inline and related code grouped together making sure that modifications are easy to make, even months or years later.
This approach is intended to bridge the gap between markup tags and the actual information they contain. Allows anyone to make the information published easily sharable and searchable.
Special attention will be given to Load Speed optimization which includes the use of Sprites Technique and optimizing the file sizes of the images.
Imagery
Images that are typically individual files are strategically combined into a single image file to reduce HTTP transactions; the best application of this technique is with image-based navigations (also known as the sprites technique). Reducing HTTP transactions gives better load performance and maximizes caching and image reuse - providing a better user experience and reduced server load. Select this option if you want the fastest possible page render speed and web server performance.
